Introduction
M.H.Godden Ltd, was formed in the early 1950's specifically to design and manufacture Aircraft De-icers. It was founded by Mr.T.E.Godden, a Senior Designer at Dowty Rotol Ltd.
Godden Heater Mats were fitted to the first Viscounts ever flown and have since given more than 5 million hours of trouble free service on this celebrated Aircraft alone.
In the 1960's with Hawker Siddeley, De-icers were developed for the Vanguard, CL 4L2, Briguet Atlantique, etc.
Blade De-icers were developed in the late 1960's for the Aztec and the Islander, and since that date the company has expanded the range to cover most light aircraft and now supplies the industry worldwide.
Through Dowty, our blade, spinner and shell assemblies have been fitted on the SF340, YS11, Trident, F27, F50, 'SAAB 2000', and C130J.
M.O.D. requirements for the design and supply of specialized heaters for Batteries, Cameras, Antennae, Radomes and Electronics, have always played a large role over the years Recent developments include the incorporation of elements into composite structures for Air Intakes, Strakes and Helicopter Gear Box Fairings. De-Icers (MHG)Ltd. has C.A.A. and BS/ISO design and manufacture approval, together with F.A.A, S.T.C approval.
In recent years De-Icers (MHG) Ltd has branched out into specailised heated clothing for amputees and sufferers of Raynaud's, Scleroderma and poor circulation.

hundreds of aircraft worldwide, demonstrating our commitment to reliability and performance. Our components support a wide range of platforms, including the SAAB SF340, NAMC YS-11, Fokker F27 Friendship, Fokker F50, SAAB 2000, Bréguet Atlantique, and Lockheed C-130J — among many others.
